Mil 977 Steak House - Villa de Leiva

El restaurante no es el mejor. La comida es simplemente regular. Se puede comer pagando, como en la mayoría de los lugares de Villa de Leyva. La experiencia no es la mejor, ya que siempre sentirán que el precio no compensaba el servicio o lo que comían. Lo peor de este lugar es que seguramente hacen el hielo con agua no purificada. Ten cuidado.

Great location in an old Hacienda along with many other small restaurants, both indoor and al fresco places, friendly and helpful staff who had a good understanding of the menu on offer. I chose a steak and was not disappointed, my companions went for different menu options to in this picturesque Colombian tradition of feeding each of their plates!!! Great afternoon in a beautiful restaurant, well worth a return trip.

We have visited this restaurant about 3 times in the last two years. Food is always consistently good, good meat! Nice place and a great service. Muchas gracias, volveremos!

I really like the place, it's part of the Casa Quintero where you can find more than 15 restaurants of different food, live music and very nice ambient. Ordered the Punta de Anca with a lot of expectations, they asked me for the term, and I requested 1/2 cooked... I also ordered an entrance of Longaniza which was great... Unfortunately my beef was not as expected. Here's a piece of advice restaurants, if you offer cook terms in a meat, you have to serve meat cuts that have at least 2cm of thickness! This was not the case, off course my meat was not 1/2 cooked cause it had less than 1cm of thickness! Taste was good, beer was cold. Oh by the way, the Chimichurri is kind of weird, I personally prefer an Andres Carne de Res Chimichurri.

The location is great, situated in an attractive courtyard with other restaurants and al fresco seating, the service was friendly and attentive except that I have cooked better steaks myself from Waitrose! The steak looked impressive, a chunky slab of red meat but the taste and texture were a let down although my son enjoyed his serving of beef.
