Fabulous portuguese restaurant led by a beautiful family. The owner is a fisherman. Fantastic food and huge portions. Very friendly staff. Just clean. Very reasonable prices too. We have eaten twice for our 2 overnight stay. They won't be disappointed.

My friend and I enjoyed a nice dinner at this fish restaurant in Sagres. The beautiful lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. We decided for the first time to try Cataplana Tamboril and liked it very much. Especially accompanied by a beautiful glass of wine. The whole restaurant is decorated with maritime drinks and has a truly authentic feeling. I'd definitely come back. Good value for money.

We were wandering around sagres and decided to eat lunch here. The place was packed, its a mom and pop type restaurant so don't expect fast service. They were friendly and helpful. The food was good but not great. We were surprised how many Portuguese restaurants serve french fries.

When we went there on a Saturday evening, the place was almost empty, but it filled up rapidly, and we had to wait a bit for the food. We started with the cooked shrimps and the octopus salad, both was delicious. Then we had onion cod and grilled squid, both OK but not outstanding.

We were in town and thought a nice lunch would be in order. We found it here! This place is spotless and the service is top notch! We were impressed. This is the place to stop while in Sagres. Bathrooms are clean. The tables are clean. If you wonder what the kitchen looks like you don’t have to worry when you see how the rest of the place is kept.
