Petiscaria Preguica

The most fantastic restaurant with a breath taking view. I hadn’t made a booking as I was travelling alone and when I got there it was fully booked. The lovely waitress kindly made up a bee table for me and I enjoyed the amazing food cooked on an open fire with some delicious local wine. I really couldn’t recommend this place more and am so grateful to the lovely waitresses who made room for me.

The fried river fish was something undefinite and uneatable, the french fries weren’t baked enough... definitely not a restaurant to advise

This is a very special place... not only by its unique location, facing the spectacular valley of the Douro river, but also by the food.................. you will get some of the most fantastic food you can imagine all done with genuine local products, cooked with precision and (vernacular art. Don 't miss the fried fish (fresh from the river , the eggs with wild asparagus (Wow!!! and the posta (a huge grilled stake . The fish soup is also a great idea and the different versions of alheira will surprise you for sure.

Excelente sopa de peixe, posta e costela. Sobremesas absolutamente divinais. Simpatia e ambiente familiar. Vista deslumbrante.
