Restaurant bewertenWill not be going back to this location. We arrived yesterday around 4pm for some ice cream. We entered the shop and no one was to be found so we almost left. As we where headed out someone came out. This lady said what like we where buggying her. My children didnt know what they wanted so spent a couple minutes trying to decide. My autistic son was trying to figure out what candy he wanted in his blizzard when the employee rudely just started to make what she thought he wanted. We never really decided and she was in such a rush that she said come on and was extremely pushy. My son wanted recess pieces. The employee said she was double charging me. Mind you we had not ordered and if she was not as pushy and we would have been fine. She double charged me. Luckly we where having a good day or I would have fought back on your rude employee. I will not be back.
My husband and I have given this DQ 3 visits and each visit made us realize why do we keep coming back. Last night was the last straw. On our first visit we wanted to try the new carmel cheesecake blizzard that was advertised and they didn’t have all the ingredients. The second time we went we wanted to try the new red velvet blizzard, it looked nothing as advertised, it was not pink and could not taste any cream cheese frosting. Then last night we go and it feels 80 plus degrees in the store, we had to stand and wait for someone to come from the back and we ordered the new confetti dipped cone. The cones were so small and sad looking and it was over $10 for 2 small dipped cones! The quality, service and prices are not worth coming back. I’ve left a review on an instagram page a while back and the link provided did not work.
I used to love this Dairy Queen, but unfortunately, in my most recent visits, I've gotten sick from this Dairy Queen with gastrointestinal symptoms, while I have not gotten poisoning from the other Dairy Queens. I worry about if the machines are cleaned regularly. This never used to happen to me until as of recently, and after three times of being sick, I decided to not come back.I've known Sita (the owner) since I was a young girl as I am a Vienna local, but I did notice that the business has gone downhill since the pandemic. There has never been enough staffing at this Dairy Queen, which is disappointing, considering the demand from the town's residents. A couple of times, my boyfriend and I were waiting in a long line on a weekday night, and almost any time it was my turn to order or my boyfriend's turn to order, Sita would go to the back of the Dairy Queen and stay there for about 10-15 minutes. This made it basically half an hour to get ice cream. I felt upset by this behavior on top of the food poisoning and have opted to drive a few more miles to the Dairy Queen in Fairfax, or to Ben and Jerry's where I felt like the employees were more professional. I don't think I'll be coming back to this Dairy Queen, and I hope that the owners receive more training on professionalism, and highly consider hiring more help. I'm sure a lot of high school students looking for their first job would be happy to work here.
? I love when the only person working is on a FaceTime call, makes me wait to order, and then has me attempt to order over the person on the call while both the worker other person are still chatting. I had to then repeat the order (while they were still talking) because she didn't hear it. . .still didn't get it correct but blizzard was good though. ??
We came for dipped cones. The ice cream was so soft it didn't even hold its shape. It turned into milkshake in less than a minute. Just nasty! The cashier (older Indian lady) forced me to take it. Wasted money since there was no way I was going to get food poisoning over $5 for a scoop of rotten dairy. Poor management for allowing their business to be operated under this manor.
