Restaurant bewertenHer vegan cheeseburger was literally the best burger I ever had. crispy, much tasteful sauce, pickles and tomato, crispy but soft vegan bungalow, melt in her mouth, did not fall apart while with a hand. I also got her vegan orange flavor milkshake, who was my first milkshake since I went vegan and was suuper thick and creamy! I really wanted to give these 5 stars how epic it is.
They have a small menu but a vegan choice in each of the sections. The server mentioned that some of the sauces offered with the tofu nuggets aren’t vegan and so be conscious of this when ordering!
Went to the restaurant location of the store (they also have a food truck) and got the vegan cheeseburger, fries and vegan shake. All food was really tasty. Milkshake was very coconut-y in flavour but it wasn’t surprising as they use coconut milk ice cream (it was still very yummy). Definitely will be coming back and would recommend to stop here if you’re visiting Victoria
We ended up here after getting caught out with the Fern Cafe closing earlier than we expected and I did not ask them questions that I normally would due to the high rating reviews on Happy Cow. I would agree with the comments about the vegan milkshakes being delicious and that was the standout for me. My kids were happy with the burger and fries also and the food was definitely produced fast. However, my suspicion (not confirmed) is that the vegan and beef burgers are all cooked on the same grill and so cross-contamination occurs. Both myself and my older daughter felt a little queasy after eating the burgers, though at face value they looked great. I would definitely welcome input from Victoria locals about this so I know whether to revisit this place when I am next in Victoria
The vegan burger here was so good! I feel like most places do some kind of beyond or impossible meat now, but this patty was different for a change. The sauce in the burger was the best part and really made the whole sandwich great. The real reason to stop by this place though are the vegan milkshakes. Before my visit here I was giving up hope that a good, creamy, thick vegan milkshake was possible... Because despite how easy that sounds, most of the places I have visited have all had melty sad milkshakes or shakes that are closer to soft serve than ice cream in flavor and consistency. But this is by far the best milkshake (vegan or non-vegan) I have had in a long time! I like classic chocolate flavor the best myself, but the root-beer flavor was interesting to try as well.
