Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Vernon

I ordered the tasty ice cream and blizzard. I am grateful for the excellent service they provided.

This restaurant serves typical fast food that is not very healthy.

I have been visiting this specific Dairy Queen since I was a child, as I was born and raised just 2 blocks away. My go-to order has always been the same - a mint smarty blizzard. However, when I visited tonight and tried to order my usual, I was told that there would be an extra charge since mint smarty is not on the menu, only mint Oreo. I am truly disappointed by this decision, not just because of the additional cost for a minor substitution, but also because it feels like taking advantage of customers. It is especially disheartening in these challenging economic times, when a trip to Dairy Queen might already be a financial stretch for some. It is worth noting that this pricing change seems to be unique to this Vernon location, as I visited a different Dairy Queen just a few weeks ago and did not encounter the same issue. The owners of this Vernon location should reconsider their decision and prioritize customer satisfaction over profit. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this Dairy Queen.

Their was a mistake with my drive thru order. I went inside and the guy at the counter corrected the issue immediately. I’ll call him Tan for short so I don’t butcher the spelling, but he was awesome.
