Gotetsu Kushiyaki And Sake House

I came here a few years back and ordered the chicken curry. It was one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Tonight I came back and ordered everything that sounded good to me. The chicken curry was a 10/10 of course. The chicken Karage was so flavorful and perfectly fried. The beef skewers were packed with flavor and HELLA tender. Everyone here was really nice and you could tell even the people dining were here for a good time and good food. I didn’t take a picture of everything I ate, but here’s that beautiful Karage.

This place is amazing!!We ate here while on a weekend trip to Ventura. The food was awesome. The steak with egg yoke is a game changer.Staff is great. Hand made gyoza!!We enjoyed the food and had a great time

Yukari is wonderful at preparing delicious meats and vegetables yakitori style. We had her as a private chef for approximately 30 people. The rice cakes are the best!!

I still owe more on my tip for this great experience.The meat was PERFECT, the flavors were PERFECT, truly, everything about this experience was perfect.I 'm a local chef, have done sushi rice for a few years, and this was the first time I 'd ever seen a GRILLED rice ball; it was totally delicious and their house sauces all carry a very respectable balanced flavor. They truly treated us on my girlfriend 's birthday and we will be coming back as soon as possible; we 've officially found our neighborhood spot .The environment is super comfortable, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. These cooks know what they 're doing and actually answered our questions about the food with a smile on their face even though we came in near closing.As an industry worker, I felt guilty just for showing up so late and they welcomed us regardless. Something I definitely look forward to repaying when the opportunity presents itself.
