Restaurant bewertenWe had the most amazing meal here, I do not think that our taste buds were ever as privileged as they were at night. the taste of the risotto was absolutely out of this world, and the scallops and chicken were also delicious. beautiful fiona and fabulous chef lloyd made our evening perfect, they are such warm and friendly owners and hostess. a very special place for a really first class meal. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable evening. we will return one day. now enjoy their deserved break together. best wishes carol dennis andrews
We tried almost everything from the new menu and it was terrifically good. We live in London and regularly go to restaurants and Le Tour du Monde managed to surprise us greatly. Service was top notch same as lovely local ambience.
Easily the Best restaurant in Ventnor. From start to finish the service was impeccable, from front of house Fiona, to our server Matt (who never stopped smiling all service). Not to mention the fantastically talented chef, Lloyd. We had mussels and a risotto to start which were both fabulously flavoursome. We both chose the beef cheeks as a main which were beyond perfection, you literally could inhale them they were so tender. We then both shared a cheeseboard, full of local Isle of Wight cheese all washed down with a perfect bottle of red. Please do yourself a favour if you're staying in Ventnor, book into this restaurant (and you will need to book as they are very popular), you will certainly not be disappointed.
The food was amazing, honestly couldn’t have been better. We loved every bite. They were fantastic hosts too, so accommodating and very friendly. We were delighted to get a booking and they really made the experience so great for us. It was the 1st dinner we’ve had out since getting married and we thought it was so fabulous. We would definitely recommend anyone to go here and I do hope we get over to the Isle of Wight again soon. If we do, we will definitely be making another booking. The scallops were so yummy, my husband loved his mussels and we also had the beef cheeks and lamb for main. It was very well presented and tasted so good. The panna cotta is a must try. Thank you so much Fiona for being such a wonderful host and massive complements to the chef. It was such a lovely evening
We made booking for 6pm. Restaurant contacted us to change booking to 6:45pm. We asked if we can come at 6:50 and they said that we have to come at 6:45pm and we cannot be late…we arrived at 6:45pm as requested and waited over 15 minutes to be served. So we had to be on time and they just made us wait. Other than being pedantic over the timing it was the good night and the food was amazing. Staff didn’t wear a face mask Just quick reply to your response. We checked the menu before we arrived to the restaurant. We changed our mind after we’ve told about the specials. It’s our business what we watched on our phone it’s not to look on our private phone, I think it’s rude. The volume was on and anyway we didn’t hear anything because people on another table were very loud. They were so loud that I couldn’t hear my boyfriend while he was talking to me.
