Caffe Aurora - Venice

The Florian is undoubtedly the most famous and historic café in Venice, at the San Marco Square. The internal distribution is very interesting, they are small rooms open to the street that at the bottom have a corridor that binds them all. You can also have the coffee on an unbelievable terrace, listening to music (at night). It is located under the arcades of the square, on the next side to the Grand Canal. Both glamour is paid, an express 6 euros, a capuccino 9€,... But I'm worth it (only one, hahaha).

Enter the Café Florian, in the middle of St. Mark's Square, is to imagine how the 18th century Venice would be, the decoration of its magnificent halls is exquisite and one can evoke the illustrious comensals who sat on their tables from Lord Byron to Goethe, Balzac, Proust or Twain among so many others. They say that sitting for a drink in one of the cafes of the Plaza de San Marcos is a typical Venetian experience, I would rather define it as a “tourist”, quite expensive, by the way, but no more than taking a walk in gondola through the canals of Venice, at the end we all do it and the truth is that I have to recognize that the place has a very relaxing atmosphere and that it is a pleasant to enjoy a coffee or tea in full winter. To highlight the “friality” and the “dryness” of their waiters who do not give you a friendly face, or a smile. This is typical of almost all the staff that attends you in most of the Venetian establishments, whether hotels, restaurants or cafés, will not bother to be friendly with anyone (they are not unpleasant and there are always exceptions) are just there to do their work and if you don't like others they will come and occupy your place, if there is something leftover in Venice are tourists.

The coffee shop is resident, it's the first enough in the world, and there's a live musical for visitors, and I'd like to sit for a while, but prices are very high.

Suggestive local with good music, a beautiful experience. Unfortunately the prices are exaggerated, for the breakfast I added in the photos, we spent 96,00 € a little much, although spent consciously, especially because the quality is not there. musicians and waiters are from 5 stars
