Restaurant bewertenA premise: I always loved this restaurant, so I can't be accused of being a detractor. I have repeatedly brought you friends as an example of the best Venetian cuisine. That is why the last visit was not entirely updated and I say it with extreme regret. I gave a mediocre judgement not because all the dinner was mediocre but because together with a mixed appetizer and of all respect, according to tradition, the first were really poor and not up, one of the two then was bad. this is spaghetti seasoned with a tuna clearly in box, but not shredded and hard. It's embarrassing. a penoso dish absolutely to forget, but also the other first was not great. What to do now? I will not consume my divorce from this glorious restaurant, give it a backup test, but I ask not to betray my trust anymore. On the other hand, management has not changed and does not explain this vertical fall.
This remains a good restaurant we have seen for years. However, we signal a serious change of path identifiable in a warm gransula and perhaps even heated, although we do not have proof of this. who knows the Venetian cuisine and its unique traditions, raw materials and cuisine, knows very well that this dish is eaten cold and should not be heated. is a gransil and not a steam lobster served hot with butter as you could find in the United States or Canada. We are very concerned that even a historically purist restaurant and among the best of venetian may have chosen to bring him also the easy road of pleasure to tourists. We really hope it was just a case or a magazine. Turn around!
Over the last 30 years we have dined at the Corte Sconta in the Arsenale district of Venice a few times. And just like on previous vists it 's humble surroundings belie the delights within. You stumble along a narrow passage, not believing that one of the finest restaurants around is 'down here ' and eventually you find the door. You heave a sigh of relief that Google Maps did indeed bring you to the right place! You walk into a relaxed and informal environment, full of Italian/Venetion tradition, where it seems like all of what is best in the lagoon is served on a plate, along with find wines from the region. The service is great, the staff are great. It really is a pleasure to visit. If you only ever do one thing in Venice in your life, eat here! We always think of it as a privilege to eat here.
I have been coming to this restaurant since the 80’s. It is a treat as it is pricy, but nevertheless an obliged stop and never disappointed! Now happy that the third generation of our family is appreciating this restaurant.
DEFINITELY WOULD AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. MARCO, THE OWNER, IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARROGANT.OUR PARTY OF 5 WOULD HAVE LEFT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIS RUDE BEHAVIOR TO US.TWO OF OUR PARTY DID LEAVE EVEN THOUGH IT HAD BEEN PRE-PAID FOR THROUGH OUR TRAVEL PLANER.BESIDES THAT, THE FOOD WAS NOTHING SPECTACULAR.WE HAD MUCH BETTER MEALS IN ANY OF THE WALK IN RESTAURANTS IN VENISE AND WERE APPRECIATED AS CUSTOMERS
