Le Chaudron - Vars

This has been our first year visiting Vars and we have been pleased with everything. The evening we ate at Le Chaudron we received a very warm welcome and all staff were helpful and made us feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was calm and a great feel for the whole family. The environment was clean and inviting and the views were fantastic. The menu has a great variety for all, including children.The food was amazing (the best we had all week) and great value for money, I am particularly a very fuzzy eater and they catered to all my needs. I can't wait to visit again.

Just down the road from our hotel, this place was open until late and served us right away. Just a little bothered at first that they didn't let us choose our spot knowing that there was only three tables that wEre sat down all serving.The food portion was large. The melted Camembert was deciduous , although it came out a little cold and coolest off really fast since we had the fois gras that took nearly 15 minutes to prepare. Would just recommend the staff to be a little bit more adaptable especially when they're not that busy.

Good restaurant friendly service . They serve local specialties very nice for lunch aperitif and dinner.

Went here with my 3 sons. Had good beer and pizza and darts! Locals were friendly. Good value and good quality.

After one week in Vars we can recommend this sympathic restaurant and its good kitchen very much! Friendly service, excellent pizzas, grilled salmon, desserts and Belgium beer pression! Thanks!
