This was my morning coffee spot to go to. The restaurant is right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. It has a pleasant ambience and staff is very friendly. Coffee is good and their juices are delicious. The service is a bit slow but I had nowhere to hurry.

Please train your wait and kitchen staff on food preferences, intolerances and allergies. I explained I have lactose intolerance while ordering. The falafel hummus wrap is vegan , I was told (waiter 's words, not mine). Round 1- Instead of wrapped in Chapati, as listed on the menu, the wrap was in pita. When I asked if it had no milk products (pita isn 't usually vegan) the waiter insisted that it was vegan, just like the Mediterranean bowl which we give to our vegan guests . When I pointed out that the bowl listed yogurt as an ingredient he said that is something different, not dahi. It is not a milk product but couldn 't say what it was made of instead. Round 2- Waiter agrees to change the wrap to one with chapati and when it finally comes out, there 's no falafel in it. (See photo) 2 falafel per wrap he explains and then sees for himself. Takes it back to the kitchen. Round 3- Wrap finally in chapati and with falafel in it, and the distinct feeling that the wait and kitchen staff find me unreasonable. An uneasy meal. Vegans/ people with food intolerances/ allergies- this is not a place to be heard, understood and catered to, unfortunately.

One of the outstanding cafe and restaurants in the vicinity of Varkala Cliff. The quality of food and ambience has been of high standards. We enjoyed both of your visits to the cafe from one to indian foods to South Indian foods. The flat white was so so but Masala chai was good, taste and quality of rotis, Dosa, curries quite good enough. Would recommend this cafe for sure

Very nice and cozy place at the cliff. The food is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. There is always background music running sometimes a little bit too loud. The smoothies and juices are very good here.
