Restaurant bewertenYou never know what you are going to get with these little tucked away places. I walked in and thought this could go badly very quickly. Im always game though! Nothing fancy visually but PERFECT PLACE FOR BREAKFAST!! <br/ <br/ Gone are the days were people make good but cheap eats. $20 for 2 people is amazing. We had way more food than we needed; we may have been over zealous with ordering but it was SO CHEAP!!! <br/ <br/ It was simple but Goooood. You must try this place but don't go if you can't get past the diner feel. My only down was the lack of real maple syrup but as my friend reminded me for 4.95 breakfast you can't expect real maple syrup. Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was crispy, hash browns had a good light spice to them. I was happy all around and would go back : <br/ <br/
This is my new go-to cafe. Was awesome. Everything is priced the way it damn well should be with housing as pricey as it is, and a dollar as low as it is!! Two people for $25 including tip. I got french toast with two eggs, two bacon, two sausages, a cup of tea, a side of hashbrowns and a grilled cheese sandwich that we shared. The other half of the party got two eggs, two bacon, hash browns, a cup of tea, and toast with a side of sausages to share cause they're pretty damn good. I wanted a few more things, but I probably wouldn't have been able to eat it all. I am going back to try the lunch menu soon... and more breakfast. The service was great as well and the food came fast. I LOVE THIS PLACE!
If you're looking for a budget-friendly mom-and-pop diner with a nostalgic feel, Truck Stop is the place for you. Owned and operated by one family, this place offers $6 burgers and $5 breakfast items. While the decor may not have been updated in 30 years, the food is worth checking out. However, if you're seeking a trendy, upscale dining experience, it's best to look elsewhere.
Great homey café. Honest people, prices and service. Diamond in the rough.
This cozy little cafe holds a special place in my heart. It's conveniently located near my workplace and I absolutely adore it! Run by a wonderful family, this hidden gem offers delicious food. The son takes care of serving customers, while the parents and grandparents work their magic in the kitchen. The wonton soup is on par with those from high-end Asian restaurants in the city - it's my go-to comfort food when I'm feeling unwell. The daily specials and sandwiches are also fantastic. However, my ultimate favorite item on the menu is the breakfast supreme sandwich. I can simply call ahead and they already know my order. If you're in search of an affordable and charming lunch spot, this is the place to be. Definitely worth a try!
