Restaurant bewertenDhaba opened in early October and we (John Ted) stayed for lunch after we had their sandwich board road ad. We tried the butter chicken and eggplant bharta wrapped with fresh garlic naan. We thought we had died and went to heaven, the flavors were so good. Since then we've been for dinner three times. The chicken, the eggplant bharta and the Ali Gobi are our favorite dishes. A nice thing at any dish is the flavors are clear that not always the case in some other Indian restaurants that we visit. The garlic naan is made fresh and is one of the best we have tried. Your hosts Dal and Jay are a pleasure, the service great and the surroundings welcome. They still have their fleet choice to meat, but plan BC wine and beer. Dhaba is a welcome addition to the Main/Broadway dining experience.
Chicharron ($12): Rating: 4.5/5 This dish featured three large pieces of crispy pork belly served with yam puree. The pork belly was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and glazed with a sweet sauce. The yam puree was smooth and sweet, complementing the pork well. Pollo Crema Empanadas ($18): Rating: 3.5/5 These empanadas were filled with smoked chicken and served with a side salad. The crust was flaky and tender, and the chicken had a nice smokey flavor. However, it was a bit dry, possibly due to the use of breast meat. Summary: Food: 4/5 Price: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Overall: 3.5/5 Recommendation: Chicharron

Went there during dineout, pretty busy, and we have to finish fast cz the next reservation is coming. Their seafood is much better than pork or beef.
My boyfriend I enjoy trying foods from other cultures. We got to experience Chicha Peruvian/ Latin American Restaurant for Dine out. Not a very big place, reservations highly recommended. We had the plantains Peruvian dips Challenge Venice, Polls Anticuchos, Logo Salado, Braised Red Deer Venison Neck Chorizo, as appies main entrees in the form of tapa sharing plates. Desserts we had Peruvian Caramel Shortbread cookies, Chocolaty Cafe in Enamorados (like a chocolate nousse). Incredibly Tasty! Will definitely go back and try a regular menu.
