Restaurant bewertenThis is the most beautiful dinner we had in 2021, BY FAR! This is an amazing restaurant and it never disappoints every time we come back! We came with our six-year-old child, but and the gentleman who served us tonight, Brian was extremely patient and accommodating so that we welcomed the most! The service is 1000/10! The food is perfect and is always super delicious and well prepared with passion and care. Thank you for having us tonight and we cannot wait to be very soon!
Fantastic place with first-class service. Since the moment we left, everything was great. We visited for the first time in the evening and it looked like they had a problem in the kitchen that was quickly and gently solved by the staff who offer the whole restaurant some appetizers. We tried the mushroom soup, the braided lamb, a turbo-fish equipped with pasta, orange cream brûlée and profiteroles. They were all exceptional, except the fish we felt it missed. But not enough to give this place no 5 stars.
My friend and I were here to celebrate our 5th anniversary and the food was phenomenal. I couldn't recommend this restaurant anymore. The service was perfect and the ambience of the restaurant was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. From chef to staff you can say that they are great pride in their food and customer experience. I 100% recommend this restaurant! You will love food and experience.
It makes sense that this place is donated as one of the best restaurants in Vancouver. It is definitely a must to taste French restaurant when you find yourself on the west coast. The price was very fair for this quality of food and the restaurant kept up to expectations after reading such lofty reviews. We had some of the features that could not be available, but that must try is the beef tar and the escargot and the delicious frogbon appetizer I ever had. Absolutely unimaginable. We'll be back next time. Only if it were to keep the tables apart, as a nice restaurant it is extremely tight and loud, so it is difficult to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant.
This is my first french cuisine dining I have ever experienced and it was amazing! It was busy, there were some loud customers but it did not deter from the overall experience. My family was celebrating a birthday. Our waitress for the evening was professional, courteous and attentive. Though we couldn't try their wine selection (we had few DDs), we were still able to enjoy non-alcoholic beverages that complimented very well with the menu. The frois gras and beef tartare were great! The duck confit, venison, steak and veal just melts in your mouth in addition with the choice of sauce and root vegetables for each dish was just wonderful! I was surprised we were given complimentary unsalted potato chips to pass the time when our meal was being prepared. It is not something I have seen before other than having bread so I truly enjoyed my time. Our waitress was attentive and even asks if there were dishes we were planning to share amongst the table. She even noticed one of us felt embarrassed for leaving crumbs on the table was trying to tidy up a bit. She made us feel welcomed, happy and encouraged a warm enjoyable atmosphere for us. Before she brought in the dessert menu, she asked if we are celebrating an occasion. Our guest of honor choice the gran Marnier souffle and she said it was divine. She very much enjoyed having a personal happy birthday with candle. It was a wonderful experience for her. Others at the table have the chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, Creme caramel and the chocolate rolls. All of the dishes were delicious and plating was phenomenal. Overall, for a group of 5 the total is very reasonable considering the overall experience, staff performance and the DELICIOUS food. This restaurant gave me a reason to travel long distance especially to downtown. I look forward to the next time I go back again. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL DINNER AND EXPERIENCE!!!
