Restaurant bewertenThe food quality was decent, slightly above average. However, the portions are quite small for the steep prices, likely leaving you hungry after leaving. Not sure how those prices could be justified, even for a fancy restaurant. Was expecting something way better but got disappointed.
Stayed at The Listel Hotel for a week and stopped by Forage for some brunch. This place is super clean, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is on point. We had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and French Toast. The Smoked Salmon Benny had perfectly poached eggs and the pickled red onions with fried capers hit just right. The French Toast had a great blueberry compote and the duck yolk custard really elevated it. We also ordered a side of bacon and it was a nice portion. Kombucha was tasty as well.Definitely a 5 star. This food is made with love and the staff are very nice.
We were not sure and were skeptical that it's just a downtown mediocre fare with high price tag.The food were actually delicious. We had Sablefish and Octopus to share. We were happy and couldn't make decision on which dish we like more. Will go back for sure!
Great concept. Extremely tasty, well balanced dishes and wines. Chef knows their stuff and gets flavour combinations. Wine pairing was spot on. Good, unfussy service knowledgeable about the menu. The (recent) changes to the menu (tortellini) come highly recommended.Vegetarian options: The tortellini with two side dishes of peppers and zucchini were fantastic.
First time trying Forage and their food service was superb! Came in during late brunch and ordered the bison steak along with the eggs benny. Would highly recommend going here for a nice brunch at their back patio!
