Restaurant bewertenRecently, on the strong recommendation from a co-worker, a few of us ventured to Granville Island for lunch on Granville Island at Off the Tracks, formerly known as Agro Cafe. Off the Tracks Espresso Bar and Bistro is tucked away on Granville Island's cozy, car-free, nook Railspur Alley. On the exterior, there is a nice little patio. On the inside, it is a big bright open space with a few small tables and counter seating and a large communal table in the middle.
The restaurant has a great location, comfortable seating, and serves delicious coffee. The smell coming from the deep fryer can be a bit overwhelming at times, but overall it is a good spot to gather for a meal or a meeting.
Cute cafe off of the tourist path. Probably the most chill place on Granville island because there aren't many tourists there. Had a delicious buttermilk biscuit sandwich with fire roasted tomatoes and eggs. A nice place to relax on a weekend morning.
I only go to this restaurant for one thing - the Clover coffee machine. I always order black coffee and have never been disappointed.
Agro Cafe. Walking into the open, wood-frame interior gives you a real nice, open feeling. I ordered an americano, it was almost too hot for an afternoon coffee but since this was a new cafe I had to give their americano a try. It was going to be a bit of a wait (busy place, four-shot machine) so we grabbed a seat on the patio and enjoyed the busker across the lane.
