Restaurant bewertenMio used to be one of my favorite sushi places in Vancouver, but in the past year their consistency has dropped significantly. My calamari ordered today was tough and not flavorful and the rolls I ordered fell apart immediately. While I understand theprice increase that had to happen, disappointed that the food has dropped in quality.
First time eating sushi and it was amazing. Clean place, adorable plating, and delicious food.

Firstly food was good and wait staff was friendly. Unfortunately stars were deducted because of the fact the restaurant did not want to honor the prices of the happy hour advertised on their website. Furthermore we were told the restaurant had quit offering happy hour service over one year ago. The year of the copyright on the website says Copyright 2022 . The group of people that came in after us and sat at on adjacent table also wanted to enjoy the happy hour specials but we 're told no. There is a dishonest practice in the retail industry called bait and switch , I do hope it is not that but a misstep to update the website in over a year. We are unsure if we could recommend this location or would return ourselves.
I've been enjoying the Camas location of Mio Sushi for years, and decided to give the Hazel Dell location a try since I was in the area. The food is still of high quality and service is still friendly and quick. They have a really good udon if you're in the mood for something other than sushi, and I recommend adding beef to it. Solid Japanese menu for sure.
