Restaurant bewertenThe lamb chicken entree was really good and the shawarma! the pistachio baklava was excellent! the service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. recommendations, the samosa must be fried less and the restaurant temperature must be changed. (It was cool when we visited the middle of March.
Everything on the menu looked fire, tried the Chicken On Fire and was happy and then I tried the hummus and was in heaven.
We enjoyed the hummus, samosas and garlic chicken. The portions were generous and the server pleasant and attentive. The rice was a little dry and I would have liked it with more salt. My husband and I split the dinner and we both had food leftover.
4 1/2 stars. I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and ordered a few vegetarian appetizers the Labeneh, Grape Leaves (dolmas), and Samosa. Portions are good size so I had leftovers from all for dinner, and service was quick and friendly. The Samosa filling was very good and had just a bit of a spice kick. The Grape Leaves are served warm, which is unusual for restaurants, I find, and were also very good as cold leftovers. I really enjoyed the Lebeneh as well great for dipping the samosas and dolmas as I preferred it to their dipping sauce. I was disappointed with the pita bread, though, which was very dry and had little flavor or texture. This a good stop for vegetarian fare. I would definitely eat here again and hope for better pita.
Super disappointed as well. Not at all impressed and I am sad about it. Tried twice and both times disappointed and they have so much potential. The dishes/entree are just not impressive for the cost, and basically very low key and nothing to write home about. Kabobs are just... meh. Small-ish, and rice lacking any flavors except mildly yellow, and comes with a few bites of greens and 1 spoonful of cheese served in a small plastic cup. After two earnest tries despite they are friendly and have great intentions... it's just not worth the time and money. It's really sad. I really want this restaurant to thrive... but it will be quite unlikely.
