Restaurant bewertenThe food was absolutely delicious. This place is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican cuisine. The Cadillac Margarita was strong and flavorful. I ordered the chicken burrito and the chipotle chicken, which was the best I've had in a while. Thank you for the amazing food. The atmosphere was unique, being in an old church, and I loved the transformation of the space. I will definitely be returning.
This was a pretty nice Mexican restaurant. Big freestanding building dominates, easy to find/see. Plenty of parking. Nice spacious interior. Lots of nice tile and custom woodworking throughout. Very clean. Friendly hostess and waiter. Nice menu with great variety. I ordered the #8 three tacos with ground beef. I really enjoyed my meal. Fresh crisp iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and onion on the tacos and the beef was just right, not too greasy. Plenty of cheese. Good tacos. I enjoyed it. If I'm ever back in the area I would go b as back and eat there again.
Food was good, the staff was fast, almost to the point of pushing you. A little patience would have been nice. We sat down and we were immediately given water chips and salsa, then asked for a drink order before we could even look at the menu. Drinks were delivered and our order was taken. It took about 6 minutes for our food to hit the table. It was fast, friendly service. So if you know what you want already and you're in a hurry (like 30 min lunch break), this is the place.
We visited on Sunday July 3, 2022. 3 pm. We sat in the bar. The bartender was so rude. We had asked for a drink menu and he replied he makes everything. We ordered a drink and it wasn’t what we expected. I Asked nicely if we could get another drink instead. He got us another drink and slammed it on the table without saying a word . The rest of the staff was nice. The food we ordered was good.
Service was great! Everyone was very friendly. My disappointment was the food. I ordered the three tacos combination with black beans and rice. The tacos were hard shell, which I was kind of suprised at. I was expecting real tacos on a corn tortilla with onions and cilantro. But like I said, they were in a hard shell (which were soggy) with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. The black beans were okay. The rice was undercooked, and still somewhat hard. Really wanted to like the food, but just couldn't.
