Restaurant bewerten Was Dion Wisozk an TGI FRIDAYS - Valparaiso mag:
Thea ist ein BYOB, bringen Sie also unbedingt ein oder zwei Flaschen mit! Wir haben verschiedene Vorspeisen und Salate gemacht, anstatt Vorspeisen zu machen. Wir begannen mit dem Brie-Beeren-Salat und dem Fladenbrot du Jour, einem Gemüsefladenbrot. Beide waren ausgezeichnet! Wir bekamen dann den Rüben-Rucola-Salat, die Trüffel-Parmesan-Pommes und die verschiedenen Crustini. Diese waren auch ausgezeichnet, auf jeden F... Mehr Bewertungen anzeigen.
We were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant and were told that they no longer accept Open Table reservations, despite it being listed on the website. We were pressed for time, but luckily they had a table available by a cold window. However, our server was excellent and made our dining experience more enjoyable.
I tried to make a reservation over the phone, but was told that the only way to secure one was through OpenTable. I made a reservation, but when we arrived, the hostess informed us that there would be a 20-minute wait as she was the only one seating guests and busing tables. Another couple who arrived after us was seated before us, even though they did not have a reservation. The hostess asked if we would be willing to share a table with another couple, which was not what we had in mind for our date night. The service was lacking and the food was not up to par. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant and wish there was an option to leave a negative review.
At 6:30 on a Sunday night, there were fewer than 10 diners in the restaurant. The waitress refused to provide my mother, who is 4'11 and in a wheelchair with Parkinson's, with a smaller glass to drink from. She mentioned that the short glasses were only for use in the bar for alcohol, but offered my mom a paper to-go cup instead. Surprisingly, there was no one even in the bar, yet the supposedly nice restaurant was refusing appropriate glassware to diners. Fortunately, the manager made an exception and provided us with a glass. However, my mom's salmon was completely overcooked. When the waitress returned it to the kitchen, we could hear the chef yelling about the issue and berating my mom for wanting softer fish, which made his outburst audible throughout the entire restaurant. The service was terrible, despite the fact that we were among the only customers in the establishment. My Caesar salad was decent, but based on our overall experience, we do not plan on returning.
Service was the best, fast, it helped having reservations as they were pretty busy
