Guy's Catfish Steakhouse - Vaiden

My family and I have been eating at guy for several decades. While it is true that the property has changed in recent years, the menu and quality have remained unchanged. this is a simple, non-frills land restaurant that still offers the best wels filets round. I'm sure COVID-19 has influenced the buffet service, but this is true of every buffet in the state to time. Interstate travellers and ex-city travellers find this place subduing, but it is still very popular with local, and from a background.

I ate there this past weekend for the first time in a couple years an it was awful the fish was small and hard. Not worth the price.

Guy’s Fish House used to be a great family restaurant. Not anymore. The new owner has completely changed it. My family and I stopped eating there because the service is so bad. (Also, you can no longer fix your own plate at the buffet. They fix it for you. Recently we decided to get a to-go order. When I picked up my order the other night, there was a man walking a lady to her car who was so drunk she could barely walk. They had a band or someone singing on the inside and people were hollaring. I felt like I was picking up an order from a bar! This is a place I have gone to for probably 30 years. I’m so disappointed in what they have turned this restaurant into. I, along with a lot of long-time customers, will not be back!

I 'm sure COVID-19 has affected the buffet service, but that 's true of every buffet in the state at the present time. Interstate travellers and out-of-towners may find this place underwhelming, but it 's still very popular with locals, and for a reason.

I can't recommend this place. The staff was rude and the service was slow and poor. It wasn't a great experience overall, and I don't think it's worth your time.
