Restaurant bewertenBeautiful location with great views of the canal. Food was good to excellent. Service was mixed as our server liked to share stories about himself pretty much every time he was at our table. Enough already! Also asked that they show some love to my wife on her birthday but restaurant made it a non issue. Too bad for my wife as it was special day.
It was our anniversary and I requested a window table, which we got. It was quiet table, no one around us. Joyce was our server and she was excellent. We enjoyed chatting with her. She gave us great attention. We had the Louie and fish and chips and a bottle of champagne. Afterwords we walked on the pier, listened to the live music and watched people having fun. It was a great way to celebrate 44 years together. We were there at lunchtime.
Nice view, average food. Beware of a hidden mandatory 20% service fee that comes before tipping.
Nice views and ambience. Bread was cold, both main entrees were “oily” and not much flavor. Appetizers were good. Service was disappointing after letting server know of disappointment in mains. Very expensive for low quality. Will my return.
Upon arriving we a table of four-with reservations) took about 5 minutes to even be noticed yet alone seated. The restaurant was maybe half full at the time at 7 PM on a Friday but they did have a big outside event happening at the same time. Water and bread came out relatively shortly but to see a server was about a 10 minute wait. Once Kat showed up she quickly took our drink orders and was kind enough to start a food orders as well. Another long wait for the drinks to arrive but... since the drinks took so long, the meals showed up right on the heals of the drinks. The food itself was tasty with a few minor missteps this is personal preference issues I am sure) My Louie Louie salad was over dressed but the shrimp were large and flavorful. The roast chicken was perfection, the baked oysters were Devine, the crispy Brussel sprouts were exactly as they should be. The only thing that was a little off in our opinion) was the crab, lemon pasta) The lemon sauce was tasty but by the third bite the lemon was overwhelming. Our server was Kat and she was a delight. The views are spectacular on a sunny day and we were even met by a cat upon walking into the front lobby. Remember this is a resort entrance not directly into the restaurant. Ha Prices are high but expected. Will go again but maybe try for brunch.
