Restaurant bewertenThe best chicken sandwich in the cities. I always appreciate restaurants that do a few things and do them well and holy hell Nashville Coop 's has it figured out. I got a chicken sandwich hot my friends got mild and medium, and the spice level wasspot on for all of our respective preferences. The dry rub on the chicken is exactly what you want to soak up all the sauce andslaw, the pickles are tangy and the portions are HUGE. I will definitely be returning soon!
I was greeted immediately upon entering, it was my first time so I asked about the spicy level of the sauces and the batter used on the cheese curds. I ordered strips which provides 3 chicken tenders, fries, 3 pickle slices and 2 cups of your choice ofsauce. I?ll admit these are really good tenders! They remind me of Revivals fried chicken sandwich. Fries taste like any frozenseasoned fries you can purchase from the frozen sections at your local grocery store, keep in mind this cost me twice as much asa 3 piece tender meal at Raising Canes and you will not receive a drink, the menu price will prevent me from making any regularvisits here. There are much cheaper options offering the same flavor profile.
Nashville chicken done right! The sandwich was juicy and the coop sauce tasted amazing. Portion sizes are huge. Staff was really friendly as well. The chicken is halal which is really appreciated! Will definitely be on my list of things to eat whenever Ivisit the Twin Cities
If I had to describe my meal at Nashville Coop in one word I would say ?Disappointing?. It wasn?t disappointing in that it was bad, I just expected it to be really good. It wasn?t. I ordered the Texas Toast box and my wife ordered the sammich. Thechicken was well cooked and fresh but the the chicken had excessive amounts of dry spice on it. Dark spices like cumin and chilipowder don?t taste great in large quantities when uncooked, so they coated the inside of my mouth and gave a bitter aftertasteto the chicken. I ordered the second highest spice level (growlin? and it was pretty weak. The ?Texas Toast? was just a thickslice of dry toast. There was no fat (oil or butter on it. That?s not Texas toast. It?s just toast. Cole slaw was justalright. The sauce is ok, but other chicken chains have better sauce (chick-fil-a, Canes The fries were probably the bestpart of the meal. If I put this meal head to head with Canes for example: Canes would win on coleslaw, Texas toast, sauce, andprice. Revival has better Nashville chicken for sure. Nashville Coop is a good idea that isn?t executed as well as it couldbe. It?s good but not great. The other weird part was that there were a lot of things stored in the dining area. New boxesfor takeaway, bottles of soda, a glass display case, boxes of paper towels, and other things give the whole space a clutteredfeeling. There are restaurants that do this (Five Guys, for instance and don?t feel cluttered because it?s all organizedneatly. At Nashville Coop there were big boxes on top of little boxes and things weren?t arranged with intentionality.
I?d be hard pressed to find a better fried chicken sandwich than at Nashville Coop. Juicy white meat chicken with a generous coat of seasoning and a crispy skin. This place brings the heat too. I could even specify a heat level on the Mac and cheese. All of the spicy levels, including not spicy at all, are covered here. A simple menu with plenty of ways to customize the levelof spicy you desire! Nashville Coop brings a perfect combination of flavor and kick to their fried chicken. Generous portions atan affordable price as well!
