Restaurant bewertenThis time, I arrived too late to try the full English breakfast, but I opted for some delightful cheeses and very tasty beef burgers. The burgers were cooked to perfection, served hot and made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I definitely plan to return for another meal when I'm nearby. This is a place I would highly recommend, and it’s well worth a visit!
After a lovely walk, we decided to stop by and try the cured cork, which was served with crispy speck, slowly roasted tomatoes, and a fried egg. We both found the dish absolutely delicious! We also appreciated the friendly atmosphere for dogs, especially when a lovely staff member came over to give our dog a tasty treat. We'll definitely be back!
Located in a lovely spot next to the working gardens, with beautiful views of the city and the Hoad Hill in the background, this friendly café offers a great selection of drinks and affordable meals. Additionally, there is parking available nearby.
Always an excellent lunch. various specialties on board as well as a vegetarian and gluten-free menu as well as clasps such as sandwiches, salads and burgers of the day. I like to buy them locally if possible. they are dog-friendly. the coffee is also good and it is very cheap.
I visit here often and yesterday went for the Mothers day 3 course meal which was even more than what we all expected, beautifully cooked/presented as always. Lovely set table upon arrival with added daffodils and 2 highchairs already at the table which we had previously asked for. We were friendly greeted as always by the lovely staff. Very good price for the 3 courses which all of us cleared our plates and left in good spirits with full tummys. They cater for vegetarians, gluten and dairy intolerance and they allow well behaved dogs in the side part to the cafe along with providing toys for children. What more could you want for a local cafe
