Tigers Famous Fish and Chips

What a food!!!! The chips and potato cakes etc. cooked for perfection. Lived place, but the food was served at a great pace aswell.

It's no surprise that a city with the largest fishing fleet on the south coast would have exceptional fish and chips. The top choice is The Fish Shop at Burrill Lake, widely considered the best fish and chip shop in the entire region. The flathead tails are always fresh, the batter is light and crunchy, and the tartar sauce is the perfect complement. The sides, like potato scallops, oysters, and salt and pepper squid, are also delicious. You can take your meal to Dolphin Point for a picturesque dining experience, where you may even have pelicans as dining companions. Other notable mentions include Tigers Famous Fish Chips and the Mollymook Beach Hut Cafe.

This is one of the best fish shops along the south coast. You can choose between crooked or broken. I go crumbed for fish, shrimp and Calamari and it's great. Potato scallops are the best freshly broken. The frits/chips were this last visit a bit common, but I still have to give 5 stars, as the rest was always sooo good. Recommend fishing basket for 2 persons plus some potato scallops.
