Restaurant bewertenI don't understand why it's self described as authentic Mexican food!I ordered 2 tacos just to try out because they're way to expensive and they were the worst, tortillas were absolutely cold and food was tasteless. I kind of liked the environment but the food was really bad. They shouldn't say authentic Mexican food, it's an insult.
WOW! Is all I need to say from the moment we walked in to the minute we left. Tacos were out of this world! Baja fish, shrimp, oyster and pork belly to name a few. We were a parry of 4 and tried a bit of everything. The homemade margaritas were just what I was looking for and Lori was like an sweet southern breath of fresh air. Were here on vacation for a week and deemed this spot as a daily stop it. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!! Definetly a 100% go there even if your not directly on the island!!
Terrible service and food! The cashier didn’t greet us and I felt like I kept bothering her every time I asked for something. I asked her not to put the toppings on two orders of my food and regardless it came with the toppings. The food is terrible. The food is cold. It’s not made to order. It’s not even real Mexican food. The cheese dip was hotter than the food. The cashier was taking shots. I asked for two straws and the straws didn’t have a wrapper or anything. I thought that was strange. The cashier grabbed them from the counter and who knows where they’ve been. I spent $100 on the food and it was terrible. Nothing worse than spending a lot of money on cold food that’s horrible. I didn’t even hear any food grilling or cooking which probably explains why the food cold. If you’re looking for somewhere to drink, maybe it’s the place for you. But as far as food goes, save your money and go to Publix. It’s better.
After an afternoon of hitting up the beach, we decided to try this local taco joint! I have to say, these tacos were absolutely amazing. My wife got the brisket and shrimp, and I got the grilled chicken and shrimp. Excellent choices. We also got the chip sampler (not pictured) and you could definitely tell the guac, salsa and queso were all home made. I definitely recommend! ??
We have started coming here every time we visit Tybee. It’s cheaper than a lot of the food on the island, and here’s the thing… they use fresh ingredients too!Hands down some of the best tacos that I’ve had. The drinks are good too! Just an all around good taco place!Vegetarian options: There are always vegetarian options that are tasty and filling!Dietary restrictions: They are very good about removing ingredients from the food that you can’t have. Say cheese for instance.Parking: A good amount of parking.Kid-friendliness: There are games and things for kids to do! They even have two Tech-Deck “skate parks”. Also, who doesn’t love tacos?
