Restaurant bewertenWe stopped here last week after seeing great reviews. We weren’t sure as we pulled up, but this is such a fun little spot with excellent food. I accidentally left my purse hanging from my chair, and quickly called and they assured me they saw it and had it tucked away. I returned a few days later when we returned back through, and my purse was untouched. Grateful for honest good people and well prepared food for my belly!
Breakfast served late into the day! Delicious variety and very good service with a friendly warm small town vibe. Location is random but people come from all walks of life to sit at their table chow down! Locally sourced food, creative flavor combos and the classics too! Ice tea was the best I’ve had in years, dark and good taste not acidic. Homemade jams in peach pineapple apricot are yum! Biscuit gravy yum! Omelets yum! Totally will visit again and you should too! This is the place your friends are keeping secret from you!
I had the Pioneer burger. So delicious and huge! Fresh ground beef patty that you can really taste a difference from other restaurants. Only bummer is apparently they don’t have sliced cheese like American or Cheddar. Just a cheddar-jack shredded blend. It was still delicious even without American cheese.
The buffalo hanging on the wall was an amazing feature as he indignantly stared down at me while I ate my hamburger. It was as if he knew one of his cousins paid the price for my culinary happiness. No matter how quietly I chewed his glare continued to burn incessantly on the side of my head. I took a swing of my refreshing Pepsi that was beautifully mixed with the correct amount of ice. My waitress attended to my every whim and was tipped with my immense wisdom and financial kindness. The French fries were hot and crisp and truly complimented my perfectly prepared burger. After an extraordinary dinning experience I exited the fine establishment and could have sworn I heard the deep base buffalo voice saying, see you again soon friend.
I kept hearing about this Twin Falls institution. Had to see what the fuss was about. OMG, restaurant lives up to its reputation. As soon as you walk in, you see a world map with pins marking all the people who came here just to try Buffalo Cafe's home-spun diner food. The food is tasty, fully seasoned belly-warming. Our server immediately put us at ease. Her kindness was genuine, she really wanted to get to know us. Our conversations were real too, nothing forced or polite or boring. She recommended the Buffalo Chip, full or half order, featuring eggs over a luscious bed of fried potatoes perfectly seasoned on a flattop, green chiles, tomatoes, cheese, bacon sour cream. Order comes with toast, English muffin or biscuit. Go for the big fluffy biscuit with homemade strawberry jam. We left with extra orders of a breakfast burrito chicken fried steak. Next time, I'm getting the smoked pork chops eggs on special. And, there WILL be a next time. Always check out the specials early. Smoked pork chops eggs. New Mexican eggs. Basque style chorizo eggs...Truly special. The space is a true hole in the wall but you don't feel cramped. I felt instantly at home here. We're making this place our second home. Thanks for the welcome, Buffalo Cafe! Ps. I want to work here as a server. Hmu!
