Pensiunea Casa Moteasca - Turda

The place is really nice! they need a reservation because it has limited places. eating is good, mainly traditional in Romania. they can order an hour of standing by midday on the morning. the restaurant has a rustic design, the pool area is private, has...also a child pool and a large garden and a private parking. the place has a high-time tent set up in a separate garden area.

They consider themselves a posh restaurant in a posh location therefore posh prices not the best experience, took too long. also reworking workers

We had pensiunea casa moteasca before, on the way back from the aries valley, after Cluj-Napoca, had no time to stop, but registered voluntarily that it looked quite rustic and charming. this time it was a later Saturday afternoon, we were hungry and. didn't want to wait until turda or Cluj-Napoca, so we stopped. our impression was right. it is a complex of discrete wood structures in a large and well maintained garden, with a pool on the back and what looks like a riding center. there is a lot of places to eat, including a non-smoking room in the interior; we chose the back terrace, which is comfortably furnished with wooden and benches. the menu is similar to most Romanian rural rents. we chose the ciorba moteasca (clear suppe with vegetables, pork and sausages) the baked mushrooms and the cheese-filled carrots. eating was good and honest, the service was friendly when a bit slow, and the prices were affordable. the crocheted table napkins were a nice note. my only complaint: they had no dark beer and no alcohol-free beer for the driver. all in all this is the most beautiful place to stop for a snack or a lunch between turda and the aries valley.

We had passed Pensiunea Casa Moteasca before, on the way back from the Aries Valley, to Cluj-Napoca, had not have time to stop, but registered fleetingly that it looked quite rustic and charming. This time it was a late Saturday afternoon, we were hungry and did not want to wait until Turda or Cluj-Napoca, so we stopped. Our impression had been correct. It's a complex of discreet wood-framed buildings set in a large and neatly landscaped garden, with a swimming pool at the back and what looks like an equestrian centre. There's a variety of places to eat, including a non-smoking indoor dining room; we chose the rear terrace, which is pleasantly furnished with wooden tables and benches.The menu is similar to that of most Romanian rural pensions. We chose the ciorba moteasca (clear soup with vegetables, pork and sausages), the sauted mushrooms and the baked potatoes stuffed with cheese. The food was good and honest, the service was friendly if a bit slow, and the prices were affordable. The crocheted table napkins were a nice touch. My only complaint: they had no dark beer, and no non-alcoholic beer for the driver.All in all, this is the nicest place to stop for a snack or a lunch between Turda and the Aries Valley.
