Gumbo's Bar And Grill - Tupelo

Fantastic restaurant! We were staying at the Hilton nearby and decided to eat here before visiting Elvis' birthplace. The service was outstanding! Sharon was our waitress and gave us some fantastic recommendations. Highly recommended. We will definitely return when we pass through Tupelo again. Make sure to try the spring rolls. You won't be disappointed!

I am giving this restaurant a four-star rating because unfortunately, the front end (including the food, entrance, and restroom) was dirty. However, we were able to order using the online app, which I give a 5-star rating for the great experience. Without the app, I may not have ordered due to the cleanliness issues in the dining areas. The food itself was delicious and we were impressed with the to-go packaging. I hope the restaurant can improve on their presentation in the front end, as the kitchen staff clearly knows how to deliver a tasty meal. We ordered the Angus Sliders with fries and the Fried Chicken Sliders.

Known for their delicious Spring Rolls, we all agreed that they were truly excellent. My sister-in-law and I split the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with fries, and it was fantastic.

Saw at the bar tonight and trusted Liz, the bartender, with all her recommendations. I started with a chicken enchilada soup, followed by a wedge salad and then the Nola Pasta. All were excellently prepared and were very delicious.

Food, drinks and service are always good! It?s been a while since I?ve traveled south and this is one of my favorite go to LOCAL places. Always trying to avoid the big chains. This trip I tried the Ahi Crunchy Tuna salads with a side of bourbon. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere.
