Teriyaki Delight - Tumwater

The woman working there is amazing. The best. Also the food is great and portions are huge.

Best Teriyaki in the Puget Sound. This was our go to spot and I havent been back in ages after I moved away from Olympia no surprises, it's still the best. I tried at least 6 8 different places in the Tacoma area in search of anything comparable and nothing compares. A few places were close, but none are as consistently good and with such great portions as Teriyaki Delight. On top of that, the owner recognized us (I was a regular, after all, but it had been 5+ years) and came to chat with us at the table. Needless to say, we'll probably be back most every time we're in Oly.

We stopped here while visiting from out of state. This is a small restaurant but don't let that dissuade you from trying it out. There are about 8 tables for dining in. The dining area was clean. The atmosphere was pleasant with some music playing from the kitchen. We took our order to go. The food here is really good. A word of warning. . .The portions are huge! You get a lot of food in the carton. We made the mistake of ordering the rainbow rice, not knowing that each order already came with rice! Haha, we had leftovers for 3 days! I liked the General Chicken and Beef Broccoli. I'm sure my dad will bring me back here, as it is his favorite restaurant in the area. SUPPORT YOUR SMALL BUSINESSES.

My mom and I went there Saturday at 11:30 and it was pretty empty. We got the Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. They were both delicious but I think there was more fried rice. The lady there was really pleasant and went out of her way to make us happy!
