Restaurant bewertenThe positives: the place has a nice look, like an upscale diner. Smelled like waffles! Service was good but I knew the server. They have updated iPads to take your order like a handheld Red Robin, which is convienient. The food also looks amazing! End of positives: I got the special of the day which was chorizo patty eggs Benedict with hash browns. (I added cheese) the spouse had the Monte Cristo the Son had the philly cheese steak sandwich. Long story short the special was bland except for a strange sweet taste that wasnt supposed to be there? The Cristo had bad Turkey in it and we had to send it back because the Turkey was spoiled! The son didnt complain about the philly. Overall silver skillet is much better with lower prices and better flavor! Ps: when we left it smelled like burnt waffles.
They've only been open about 3 weeks but the wait staff is right on point and so is the food. The burgers can easily be split between two people, the chicken tenders are really good, and the homemade strawberry butter is awesome! The manager Brian is very friendly and I'm glad we had a chance to meet him. I'm really glad that there is a restaurant back in this spot.
We came in on a Saturday night and were surprised that they weren’t busy. Our waitress (and the rest of the staff) were so friendly. The food was delicious. The Monte Cristo was incredible and the raspberry jam was amazing. We grabbed a cookies and cream shake for dessert and we were not disappointed. We were totally impressed from start to finish.
Went for dinner on the first official (Grand opening night. Staff was great and super attentive(Almost too attentive? . They were still in the process of training the new staff, so there were employees all over the place! I had the Bissell Breakfast and it was great. Nothing unusual about the breakfast, but all the food was spot on! Hash browns were really good, as was the bacon and pancakes too! My boyfriend had the French Dip. He said it wasn't super flavorful, but was definitely good. Prices seem a tad high, but portions are also fairly large. Will definitely go back, and hope it still makes the bar again!
The diner was clean and the staff friendly. The classic eggs Benedict and the Charleston shrimp and grits were great—especially the grits dish. It was unique and delicious. For a weekday visit, the diner stayed pretty full and busy.
