Restaurant bewertenI just discovered this place and there are so many options. Prices are great, nice shop and nice workers. Great place to get vegan options I love it
This is my go to place! It's how I manage to survive when I'm in college. Also how I manage to spend my money on mostly edible things and have nothing to show for my hard work but a happy belly(which I don't mind . The owners are very nice and it is easy to converse with them, they really know their stuff about all the supplements and tonics(and there is a huge variety! They have lots of snacks and treats that I love to nosh on. I am a sucker for the dried mango and pineapple, it is my kind of candy! They have a clearance section which I have been known to buy a nice stash of noodles from(but not always a good selection for us conscious consumers ; , and a teeny bulk section with lots of herbs, spices and various grains and sugars. Lots of juices, milks(including my favorite hemp and hazelnut! and some gluten free products. There is a frozen section with lots of vegetables, fruits, ice/soy creams, dinners, and some meat dishes. They sell bread from local ish bakeries (i think , and have a tiny refrigerator section up front with a few fresh veggies and fruits. In the back refrigerators they have yogurts, tofu, hummus, etc. There is a huge beauty aisle with hair and body care items. Most of their things are cheaper than the co op's! I love this place!
Uncle Sam's is truly the best health food store I've ever encountered. I've lived in multiple states and visited many health food shops, but none compare to this one. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, understanding, and always willing to help! I highly recommend this store to anyone seeking a healthier lifestyle. This business is committed to addressing your individual needs. Personally, I trust the owner’s advice even more than that of a doctor!
They have a section for bulk items where I can find some beautifully packaged noodles (though they might not always be the best choice for health-conscious consumers) and a small bulk section brimming with herbs, spices, grains, and sugars. There are plenty of juices and plant-based milks, including my favorites: hemp and hazelnut! They also stock some gluten-free products. The frozen section is great, offering a wide range of vegetables, fruits, ice creams, meals, and even some meat dishes. They sell bread from local bakers, and there’s a small fridge up front with fresh fruits and veggies. In the back, you'll find yogurt, tofu, hummus, and more. They also have a fantastic selection of beauty products for hair and body care, most of which are cheaper than what you'd find at the Co-Op! I absolutely love this place!
This store offers a wide variety of items, including produce, a small bulk section, grocery essentials, teas, supplements, snacks, beverages, personal care products, as well as some refrigerated and frozen items. While it may not be the most impressive health food store I’ve visited, I’m definitely glad it's available, and I'm satisfied with what I've bought.
