Restaurant bewertenWe were headed to an RPI hockey game from out of town and intended to go to a brewpub but every place we tried was packed and had a long wait. Lucky for us we got a table in the charming second floor dining area at Oh Corn! My Queen Arepas was fabulous and more than I could eat. So good! Different than everything else around so definitely worth a visit. A little pricier than I expected, but I think it's independently owned so it's ok.
We stopped here while we were in Clifton Park after being recommended to do so by a friend and it did not disappoint! We ordered an arepa with pernil, 2 beef empanadas and 6 cheese empanadas. I was very excited to see cheese empanadas on the menu because not too many places make them! All of the food was delicious! They had plenty of things that we didn't get to try so we will definitely be back!
What a feast on offer! The Arepas are cheap, filling and delicious! Try a few other appetizers and the Empanadas too. There are lots of options for Vegetarians and Muslims too!
I’m Venezuelan so I feel like I know what I’m talking about here? First off the service not so friendly, the tables were not cleaned off from the previous patrons. (Ew) the arepas were ok, we tried pabellon which they call “the king”. It was okay. The meat and plantains are good. The arepa itself could have been crispier. My main issue are the empanadas. Not sure why you’d make Cuban style at a Venezuelan place. Give me empanadas made with arepa flour and we’ll talk. I’ll try again in the winte … – show
