La Puerta de Tres Marias Restaurante

A colleague and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Cuernavaca. We were searching for some authentic Mexican cuisine and this area is abundant with little restaurants offering up local fare. We chose Tato's because they took credit cards. The restaurant is quite large for such a small front (2 floors), nicely decorated and very clean. I had their three taco combo with an order of the tortilla soup (which was beautifully presented). Everything was absolutely delicious. Including the tortillas which were hand made fresh and still warm when they came to our table. My only disappointment was that I didn't have any room for anything else.

Typical Mexican restaurant. Great food. Good service. Friendly staff. Typical local Mexican cuisine. Delicious.
