Restaurant bewertenDuring our 5 days in TC, my husband and I tried several restaurants, but this one stood out as our favorite! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and the sauce was incredible. My husband had the Salsiccia Italiana (baked Italian sausage, marinara, and rigatoni) and it was also outstanding. We couldn't resist swapping bites because everything was so good. For dessert, we enjoyed the cannolis, which were equally delicious. The drinks from the bar were excellent and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was great too! Reservations are recommended, even for a party of two. We were relieved to hear there wasn't a dress code as we hadn't packed any formal clothes for our trip. We will definitely be returning next time we're in town. Highly recommended!
We decided to dine at this restaurant after the Flying Noodle was unable to take orders due to technical issues. Overall, our experience was pretty good. Both my husband and I enjoyed the house wines we ordered. I had the chicken Marsala, which was tasty, although it had a slightly bitter taste compared to other versions I've tried. My husband ordered the salmon and thought it was good. To celebrate our anniversary, we also indulged in a delicious chocolate cake. The service was a bit slow, and it took almost two hours for us to finish our meal.
Our experience at the restaurant was awful. Our server, Alex, showed a complete lack of care for our table. It took over 10 minutes for her to greet us, and when she finally did, she only asked about drink orders even though we wanted to order appetizers. After taking care of other tables first, she eventually came back to take our appetizer and main course orders. The food took a long time to arrive, as it seemed like our orders were submitted late. Alex did not check on us until it was time to ask about dessert, and took forever to bring the bill. We were disappointed by the slow and inattentive service, especially given the high prices and mediocre food quality. We do not recommend this restaurant or server, as we have never experienced such poor service in Traverse City. As a former server myself, I understand the challenges of a busy night, but it is important to communicate with your team or show some empathy towards guests to avoid ruining their dining experience.
Wonderful dinner to celebrate last night in TC. We tried Flying Noodle at 6:30 on a Sat night, and they said it would be 90 minutes. No thank you. We then tried Sorellina, which was so amazing that I had to write the review. First of all, it's a hidden gem on Front St because it blends in with the Chase Bank. That's good because you can get a seat. Secondly, the server was so kind to our family, even though it's a little bit fancy. She was great with the kids. Thefood was excellent, and the people watching was fun. Skip the hype of Flying Noodle, and walk down to Sorellina!
My husband and I stopped in here late and the hostess (manager, too I think), Christina ran to keep the kitchen open as we were on the cusp of them closing. Alex at the bar was so sweet and she took great care of us. The food was delicious, but the service was particularly incredible.
