Basil's Downtown - Tougaloo

The shrimp toast was absolutely delicious! I have ranted and raved about this food to everyone I know! I will definitely be returning soon!

Enjoyed lunch in the beautiful capital city, downtown Jackson. Beautiful scenery, great food, perfect atmosphere and good vibes. Enjoyed conversating with the friendly customers and run into JSU President. Thank you honoring me with a picture.

Amazing food, friendly, helpful staff and service. Clean facilities, homemade, generous servings. The banana pudding reminded me of my grandma's and the unsweet tea was light, crisp, refreshing. That crab cake salad with the comeback dressing? Oh, I'm a comeback. *chefskissfantastic* Best meal I've had so far in Mississippi.

Everything!!! Today, Michael, Sheila and the rest of the team made our day by making the most delicious Pepperoni Calzones there ever was! You can’t beat the Shrimp Toast, the bow tie pasta, Heath cookies or even the Tomato Soup Grilled Cheese. I’ve never left hungry and never had a bad meal! There’s nothing this group won’t do to make you full happy!
