Ate well, simple but clean place. great service
Large, clean and well-kept restaurant; kind and professional staff; excellent cuisine; excellent value for money; these are the highlights of this restaurant/hotel where I recently went; I was indecisive if to put stars for some interesting little details from the passage of time like the wooden support behind my table, which, however, was very comfortable to place mobile phone and wallet, but then I rated that a restaurant with more than years of history should have some sign and so I opted for the star rating, also because overall everything is kept quite well. continuing schematically in the evaluation: the menu offers proposals of the territory, first interesting, fish and meat, I would say complete and balanced; the wine card is rich enough and above all characterized by assennate choices, both of the territory, and national, and international; it deserves particular emphasis on the cuisine, able to be quick and proposals with the right compromise between tradition and a hint of innovation as well as to prepare the bases (e.g. homemade pasta) of many courses to menus, unlike many other restaurants that now cook and prepare less and less, simplifying the preparations enriching them only of high-sounding names in the menus; cart of sweets, in memory of the ancient fasts of great restaurants ever more rare to find, it is interesting, having tasted a lot I have to say that the level is more than good, good for the candied fruit and the marron glacé, I would have expected also the English soup and especially the montblanc given the tenor of the cart. a detail not negligible, the salons were comfortably warm.
Good food quality, perhaps if you are not hotel guests prices are a little high.
Classic restaurant, there is no choice for vegans, but I came to meet and the dishes I ate were very good. I gave because, I don't know if for the post-Christmas fatigue, but a waiter wasn't very kind and helpful (neither with us nor I noticed even with colleagues) despite the restaurant was not full, the owners didn't seem very open, instead a young waiter did everything possible to please us and served us at the best, very good.
