Ghiotto Re - TORRE DEL GRECO

We had dinner on Valentine's evening, bad experience, appetizer with all frozen stuff both fish and fried, as the first bowl of scallops with 4 tiny lupins and for second swordfish, discounted wine. First the place was characterized by good food and for the warm and welcoming place, now with the new management nothing of all this. I'm sure I'm not coming back. The food was fabulous. The ambience was alluring. It was a warm evening on the patio under the pergola. The pasta, seafood, and entrees were delicious, perfectly presented, and just the right portion. The dessert however was fabulous! Especially the pistachio lava cake. The chocolate was good, but the pistachio was better. The menu was in both Italian and English. The server used her phone to help with the finer details. It was a wonderful two and a half hours unhurried on a beautiful Napoli evening sky. Magical!

Hard to find, in a residential area up a narrow street. Spacious car park though. Quiet and well presented place. English menu available and the staff can speak enough English to serve you. Food was delicious, would definitely go again.

Mr. Savior is the point of reference to which experience and commitment must be given to increase the fortunes of this activity. choice of wines very limited and not optimal. improve fresh fish conservation. too high price for the current quality of the menu. must improve.

Good experience and food, however the pizza oven is not wooded unlike that of petit le fleur. Anyway, for a romantic dinner, it's not bad.
