Il Matto Torquay - Torquay (VIC)

I absolutely adored the pizza at this restaurant. It has a great authentic Italian feel to it. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a meal out.

We loved this place with it 's friendly staff and a wide menu of great home style Italian food. So much in fact that after our first night we returned the next day for takeaway, and then again the following night! It 's 'nonnas ' cooking rather than haute cuisine but really tasty and nicely done. We especially liked the white sauce mushroom pizza with 2 cheeses and the warm roasted vegetable and rocket salad dish, but also sampled the delicious pasta.

We loved our dinner here and cannot wait to return! <br/ <br/ The Fettuccine pasta had slow cooked lamb and was absolutely sensational. <br/ <br/ The Meat Lovers Pizza was seriously delicious. The base and crust ticked all the boxes. Safe to say there wasn’t anything left on the plate afterwards.<br/ <br/ We got a takeaway Tiramisu, and that was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Next time we will be taking two each! <br/ <br/ Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou for this incredible dinner

Excellent food and lovely staff. Highly recommend this one. Best pizza I’ve had outside Italy.

The service and staff were so friendly and could not be faulted! The food was true Italian style and absolutely delicious. Would recommend booking as it was quite busy for a Saturday night! Love love love!
