Restaurant bewertenWe went on a Monday while initially we had planned to have lunch at the market (closed on that day) The place is an old fashioned diner. The food was good so was the music playing. The staff is very nice.
The Patrician grill boasts 'nothing fancy since 1953 ' and 'eat here, diet at home '. It is the genuine north American diner with booths, unlimited coffee and good simple food. My wife says she had the best club sandwich shed had in years and my steak sandwich on a Kaiser roll was tasty. We returned the following day for breakfast which was excellent value, well cooked and filling. Again my wife said the pancakes with maple syrup was some of the best shed had in ages. The manager asked me if my 'honey ' wanted more coffee while she was in the washroom and selected classic jazz to listen to. It was like the best of north America in the 1950s, a holiday experience in itself.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in the world. Everything a classic diner ought to be. But order the Hollywood sandwich: chicken salad with crisp bacon, lettuce and tomato. Excellent coffee. You're welcome.
A wonderful breakfast experience while watching the hustle and bustle of the world outside. I enjoyed eggs cooked over easy with bacon and toast, served alongside bottomless coffee. The service was friendly and reminded me of a charming old-school diner.
I went and had a great time the staff were lovely and the food was amazing I had eggs and bacon it came with toast and cubed potatoes it was lovely
