Restaurant bewertenFun place to visit. Many things to see on the walls. The neon lighting is very cool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many choices and choices. The food was okay and as expected. The floor was sticky and some of the areas of the building needed some attention.
What a treat! So many details to this place an authentic '50s diner ambience, from music on foot, stands and tables. The menu is extensive to Angus Burger, Chicken, Onion Rings, Fritten with optional spices, many ice-based treats, even salads and a few cocktails. The service was friendly, our food came very fast, and it was quite delicious! It was also spic-and-span clean! According to the personnel, this is only a Kansas chain. Very glad we're trying!
Travelling through Topeka and found this link to Google restaurants near me Search. 50 's with photos and memorabilia that wall the walls and a life-size Elvis statue is a restaurant center piece. The food was good and very cheap. We got a $5.95 menu special that includes a hamburger, fries, drink and a mudslide, which has an ice leak of vanilla ice cream, the hard chocolate in the dipped cone and a selection of a variety of... YUM!
Super cool concept. Lovely that the children's meal comes with a big oreo ice sandwich and loves the 50s theme and music. It would be much better if the meat on their burgers was not the frozen rubber goods like patties without taste. If they actually made smashburgers with enough salt and pepper or some other spices to be delicious, it would be almost perfect. They also had fresh sugared mini donuts that were really good and the caramel sauce on the side was the best diving sauce in my opinion. It would also help if they fixed their air conditioning because it was extremely hot and unpleasant in the dining room.
Another great example of a fantastic Spangles restaurant! We ate there Sunday evening. We were on the west side of the dining room where the big round tables are, so our entire family could sit together. It would have been nice to have blinds that could be lowered. They always have great food! Seeing all the cool retro deco is pretty neat.
