C&g's Country Cafe - Toms River

Beautiful spot in the strip right behind the Nissan dealer. I had a late breakfast and was very impressed. Clean, bright dining room with small tables and a counter. Friendly and attentive waiting staff. I ordered a coffee and the omelet of the day a protein with vegis and pork roll accompanied by toast (dry for me) and an impressive fruit cup. All were excellent and I'll go back. Nice touch that they pay you off at your table with a small hand pad.

Had a very good breakfast. I ordered the ‘Double Trouble’ waffle, a chocolate waffle with Nutella, blueberries, strawberries and almonds. I asked a simple waffle instead of chocolate. It was delicious. Fruit was sweet, fresh and plentiful. My friend got a western omelet that was also very good. The server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return.

Brought Sarah Rutherford Dwight to a new place for breakfast that Kit Dwight and I visited earlier this week for the first time. The second visit was just as good as the first one. Kit had this time the Norman breakfast sandwich as she did on our first visit. Norman was on a roll, fried eggs, 4 pcs of pork roll and double hash browns patties. Sarah had a short stack of French Toast ala Elvis Presley. It had peanut butter, bacon strips and banana slices. I chose the Jalapenos breakfast sandwich consisting of roasted eggs, cheese, pork roll and jalapenos on roasted wheat bread. Everything looked good. It came out very quickly. Could be one of our favorites, up there with Eddie's Little Silver, NJ Grandmas Little Silver, NJ, Sheepshead Bagels Holmdel, NJ and Joyce Lincroft, NJ!!!

Always a great meal. The quantity hasn’t diminished as prices have been driven higher for the hospitality business.

From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left everything was exceptional! The staff was attentive and efficient, the woman that greeted us when we came in was so pleasant, and the food was amazing? My compliments to the chef! I can't wait to go back! Oh just to mention the lemon blueberry pancakes made from scratch were out of this world and my omelette stuffed with avocado was divine!
