Restaurant bewerten6/1/18 We three middle British guys and a local BA friend were all on a budget and had mistaken the bustling tourist bits of Tigre's Quays and wanted somewhere cheaper. Through the main train with its restaurants that skip to the public pavements, we have avoided them despite their liveliness and enticing. Around the corner we came across an abandoned large restaurant, obviously without a look at the dock, with small tables outside and a frame note of Parilla offers. Since we were Veggies, we were not really interested in these offers. I asked for a menu of the underemployed young woman and found prices appropriately with veggie raviolies prices including the sauce (usually added on. The wine prices also looked good. The waitress proved to be very jolly, friendly and hospitable in our dining room. We took a chance and agreed to enter and take a table in the window to lure more passersby. The restaurant was quite humid and muffy, which was a little repulsive despite its size. A big fan was turned on with us, who turned out to be too loud. Local Argentinian music played in the background that was refreshing (not tango thank you! When we sat, we got a basket of garlic bread and bread with cheese/yogurt and Chive Dip, which proved to be quite delicious and implicitly good quality food. We realized that it would be the 20 of each table service fee (half of the usual so not complain! We chose a local fried fish with garnish (340 ), homemade vegetables filled green ravioli in a cream sauce (170 , Milanese de bere, the cut eggplants in dough, not on the menu, but a veggie version specifically done for us and on less than the meat version (170 instead of 190 and a choripan beef in a crust roll (85). I also ordered a complete salad (140 to share. When we were on a budget, we chose the cheapest bottle of white wine, Viejo Vasco at (110, but it was not available as the next Norton Classico (120, so the only next wine up was Lopez Blanco (160, which we reluctantly accepted. We also ordered a 500ml Quilmes (80). We chat and ate the Nibbles, the drinks came and the food within a few minutes (we were the only diners, but others came soon after the start. We were very impressed with the food that arrived. Apparently, the Ravioli was made big and flat. They were all right, my friend said, although he added the choripan spicy sauces about it to a little pep. My eggplant was a very generous four plates with a large mixed shrimp including eggs and beet root. The fish of our friend looked great and tasted great, he was impressed (he is usually not! . He was also accompanied by a great shrimp like me. Our local friend seemed happy with his budget option rolling and let us expand his dives our salads. To dress our salads we were using small donors of white vinegar and corn oil (it was not Balsamico vinegar or olive oil, so the spicy sauces were used. We ate and drank well with our local friend, others came when we ordered the bill. The bill arrived and we were prepared for it (fast explicitly on the menu 20 of each table service and the bill looked very reasonable and good. We decided to pay cash as the sign and menu declares a 10% discount. We settled down, left a 50 tip and left very happy and sat. When we left a young couple, on an outside table with the same size bread as we four, a little disturbing as it probably cost them 40 not 80. When I finally returned home and wrote this review, I checked the bill and saw the odd numbers. When checking with pictures of the menu, I found that they had actually reduced the menu prices by 10%, which was quite refreshing and honest of them. The only anomalies I found were that the beer was loaded as Corona (at 100 reduced to 90 and they had not added the complete salad at all! It seemed that the shrimp was the salad! My Aubergine Milanese was only 155. That was all very surprising and welcome! Maybe they had to move some fresh food to use it, and in the end they impressed us. I looked at TA to add the restaurant and check it just to find negative reviews that have found the three of us quite outside the place (one seemed to check the entire Kai experience and not referring to the restaurant at all! . Okay, the place was quiet as he was around the corner without looking at the dock, aggressive touting waiters or chic furniture. The prices reflect this. I hope the other diners enjoyed their stay and food. As a result, I will award it 5/5. Just make sure you pay with cash and get a window table to get more diners in. The more sales they get, the more wine choices they can also be in stock. There's nothing wrong with this restaurant!
Because of the demand of people in this tourist area, I don't think there's time or predisposition to attend to everyone as appropriate, I want to assume. Even if they make him want, attention is poor. the food is not good, they promote grilled for two people but the same ones consist of a mini ridge, a mini chorizo, a piece of meat, a piece of chicken and nothing else. very poor for what is a good Argentine grill. This consists of what is called “Achuras” and are the basics that a grill should have. Then there must be at least a strip of roast, a piece of emptiness, some chicken, perhaps pig pechito, bondiola, and what may appear from here is welcome, but all this is the basic and primordial of any Argentine grill, then the amount of each element will depend on the amount of diners. Well, it's not what happens in this place. They also served us the coldest food that warms, when it should actually be hot. To rescue, the fries were fine. but in my humble opinion I do not recommend it until the next opinion !!!
