Hathaway Fish - Thurrock

Wow... I am at a loss for words. This restaurant was delicious. The service was fast, the staff was friendly, and they even served drinks while we waited. The chips were amazing, my partner loved them. We also received some unexpected free extras, which was a pleasant surprise.

First time at this fish and chop bar, since its reopened. Absolutely brilliant service, really nice staff that give you a personal service and they want to do a good job. The chips are the best in thurrock and they give very big portions. All the food was piping hot, fresh and lovely. They even give you a free bottle of drink of your choice! Well done guys.

The food at this restaurant is tasty, however, the fish and chips are quite expensive at £14 for one portion.

Terrible! The fries were a strange grey color, cold, and chewy, like they had been reheated. I threw them away immediately. The lack of concern for the quality of the food really angers me. I only gave them one star because they were polite and smiled (while overcharging me).
