Restaurant bewertenI arrived at the restaurant with a reservation, only to be seated in one of the worst spots in the entire place. After waiting 30 minutes without seeing our waitress or receiving any water or bread, we requested to be moved. We were then relocated to a back room that had a strong smell of cats, and we continued to wait. This restaurant is no longer the special place it once was for me. I can’t understand why anyone would pay the high prices they charge for such a disappointing experience. I won't be returning anytime soon. My overall assessment: the food was just okay, the manager and concierge were unfriendly, the service was extremely slow, but the view is nice if you’re lucky enough to snag a good table on the back patio with a fire pit. Unfortunately, I was really let down by Gateway.
I found the food to be quite good, and the view of the river is excellent. The outdoor seating is fantastic. It's always a great spot for an enjoyable evening, and it's also perfect for lunch. They mentioned they didn't have my reservation noted, so we had to wait for a little while, but they were still able to accommodate us.
This was our first visit, and we had to wait more than 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. We sat outside by the water, and the view was stunning! Initially, the wait staff was very attentive, but they eventually seemed to vanish. The food was mediocre and priced somewhat high for its quality. The interior could use some updates as well. I'm not sure I would return.
Unfortunately, my wife ordered DAB-a specialty for the evening. It arrived basically uncooked and inedible. Our server took the uneaten item off our bill, but the entre was so mushy and uncooked that my wife could not eat a substitute.
Outdoor seating with view on the river was great. I had the ribs which were reallly delicious
