Restaurant bewertenGet off at Transperth. It's a pleasant walk to enjoy the sights and experience the vibes of Perth.
Forrest Chase has been a prominent landmark in central Perth for many years, featuring a narrow, open area designed for promotional displays and small events. It is flanked by a shopping mall with Myer at its center on one side and the former Australia Post headquarters, now housing private retailers, on the other. Before its redevelopment, Forrest Chase was known as Forrest Place, a quaint mall that hosted a flea market and various retail shops for years. Today, the area boasts nearby coffee shops and restaurants, along with public seating beside a charming, decorative water fountain. Serving as both a bustling pathway from the city to the train station and a welcoming gathering space, the modern Forrest Chase is an essential part of the Perth experience.
This is a fantastic place to explore, featuring a wide variety of shops including clothing, footwear, food, and souvenirs. The area is well-maintained and offers ample seating. It’s also very kid-friendly, with a playful water fountain area perfect for young children and toddlers. There are often various activities or events taking place, such as the Friday Twilight Markets, which showcase numerous food stalls offering diverse cultural cuisines. The atmosphere is lively with music and performances adding to the enjoyment. Additionally, there is a consistent police presence to ensure safety and a pleasant experience overall.
Renovations are ongoing near the 'Cactus ' at the front but it otherwise looks beautiful.
Although a limited range, there is definitely a solid range here. It provides a nice outlook over the city centre whilst also facilitating our needs.
