Restaurant bewertenAs a West Coast Latino foodie who was raised on Mexican food, I was looking for a place to have authentic mexican food. I did a search and decided to try this place. I can honestly say without a doubt that the food prepared and served here is hands downfantastico! I ordered a bowl of (Guererro style) menudo with hominy and was totally satisfied with the savory flavor. As aside note...they don 't normally prepare the menudo with hominy as I ordered it special from the Posole that they make and serve. The corn tortillas are hand-made and are every bit bueno. My wife ordered the Berria tacos and said that they were verydelicious. Prices are reasonable and will definitely come back again to try the other dishes they serve, especially for tacotuesday. The lady chef came to our table and made sure our eating experience was satisfactory as well as the friendly waitressesthat were serving us. Take it from me, this small mom and pop eatery is a Must Try Mexican resturant in High Point, NC.
Taco Tuesday ???? $1 tacos were small but very good. Tortillas are made fresh, loved it.
There is nothing better than going into a place wanting to support and try something new. So I ordered the special, Casillos de Puerco (spicy but so good); 4 steak tacos and a steak burrito. I asked for extra onion and cilantro which they made sure I paidfor. I tipped above 20% and yet for some reason when it's time to enjoy this burrito... The only thing green is lettuce. Suckwhen you drive out of the way and knowing it's a waste of time to call and ask for that part to be refunded. So sorry first andlast time customer. Gotta pay attention especially to the ones that are new customers and already tip well.
Went the first time and made the mistake of getting the Habanero sauce. Never again. I'll go back though. The tacos were great.
Home make corn tortillas and the asada tacos are good.
