I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our Sunday lunch, and it was clear from the chaotic atmosphere and the staff openly discussing problems in front of us that something was not right. To make matters worse, we found plastic in both of our main roast dinners. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, there was not much acknowledgment or apology. We have been to this restaurant a couple of times before and have encountered issues both times, but finding plastic in our food and the lack of proper response is the main reason we will not be returning to dine here again.

I recently enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch with my partner at this restaurant. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I started with the soup, which was incredibly tasty and flavorful. For my main course, I had the beef dinner, which was absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly and simply melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this place for food and I will definitely be returning to try their lunch menu.

Menu needs reviewing Gammon is stated on the menu however it was ham

Unplanned visit with a group of friends after visiting some sights in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised with the character of the pub as well as the friendly and attentive waitress. The menu was varied and the quality of the food was great. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely be returning Wi-Fi is available and the pub takes cash or card.
