Restaurant bewertenOne of the places I miss after moving out of the Spring Branch area. I’ve been to their Sugarland location as well, and highly recommend both locations. I really miss the chicken Katsu. I guess they wonder where I have been since I used to eat there practically every day. If I’m ever in proximity to either location, it’s a definite visit!
Love this little place. Quick, tasty, and good portions. Especially since there's not a whole lot around here, I highly suggest it if you live or work in the area.
Stopped by Teriyaki kitchen because I was craving a bento box dinner. Upon arriving, I wasn’t greeted and the worker at the front did not acknowledge us, regardless once we placed the order we received in a timely manner. The drinks were expensive so watch out for this, the food was good.. the tempura vegetables could’ve been better… portion here was very small.I ordered the Spicy Pork bento box, the pork was very good! Sushi rolls that came on the side were very dry however. My wife ordered a chicken teriyaki plate, the portion size was pretty good on her plate. Overall the food was good, will I come back again? Sure. I’ll just bring my own drink next time.
I don't give one star reviews often but this place earned it! I've heard numerous good reviews about this place, local community swears by it. I stopped by yesterday afternoon for a to-go order. First, the old man has language barrier issues which contributed to me receiving the wrong menu item than what I ordered. This was not realized until the food made it all the way back home. I called to give them a heads up that I would be driving back and need my correct food. When I arrived to correct the order, the lady wanted me to pay $5 extra to correct their mistake. Until I explained multiple times that the receipt was correct, the order was not, and I left a tip. With the correct food in hand, I was excited- I love Chicken Katsu! I was dead wrong. The Katsu was flavorless, dry, and very low quality chicken very fatty). The proportions of rice/veggies to meat was ridiculous for prices $12.50+ for basic entree). The curry was the nastiest curry I've ever seen or tasted, canned/frozen tastes better and is more fresh. The lack of customer service and low quality of food all contribute to why I will never visit this locally owned establishment again.
Placed a pickup order online. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door. Nice and cozy dining area. The place looked very clean. All the items in my order were delicious. The teriyaki sauce was sweet and salty. The dumplings had some crunch to them but also soft inside. The California Roll tasted fresh. Will be coming back soon for more.Parking: shared parking
